Escape from Hell: A Weekend That Led to Heaven

Escape from Hell: A Weekend That Led to Heaven

Our base was Le Petite Fabriek in Doornik, tucked right between the regions and perfectly placed as a basecamp for everything that followed.

It began in the north of France, taking on a 100K loop through the Hell of the North, conquering 15 relentless secteurs of Paris–Roubaix. Punctures tested patience, but nothing broke the spirit as we danced over Mons-en-Pévèle and Carrefour de l’Arbre.

The next day, the journey continued into the heart of Flanders, diving straight into the iconic terrain of the Tour of Flanders. Oude Kwaremont, Paterberg, and Koppenberg stood tall, demanding everything. No verdict could be made whether one was harder or more beautiful—both regions carved their own place in memory.
